Animator Matthew Maloney is constantly watching films as part of his creative process. He will watch the same film dozens of times, always watching for different aspects—camera work, sound design, lighting, storytelling, character design, and, above all, the inexpressible. This reflective iteration inspires his work as an animator and educator at the Savannah College of Art & Design-Atlanta.
